TG20 is the official franchise-based T20 cricket league of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), created to unlock the immense cricketing potential of Telangana and provide a world-class platform for the next generation of talent. Conducted under the aegis of the HCA, TG20 brings together the state’s finest cricketers, leading business houses, passionate fans and emerging cricketing regions in a celebration of sport, identity and opportunity.

The league marks a defining moment in the evolution of Telangana cricket. For decades, the region has produced players who have gone on to represent India at the highest level. Yet, countless talented cricketers across districts and smaller towns have lacked a consistent pathway to showcase their abilities on a professional stage. TG20 has been established to bridge that gap.

Featuring eight regional franchises representing different parts of Telangana, the league creates a direct connection between local communities and elite cricket. It offers young players the opportunity to compete alongside established stars, perform under pressure, and gain exposure to coaches, selectors, broadcasters and fans.
